January and February 2023 — Brigid

New year, new approach!

We’ve decided to try something new for our holy women/goddess icon making class. Starting in January of 2023, we will work on the same icon for two month’s time instead of starting a new one each month. In month one, class will be conducted via zoom; in month two, class will be conducted in person in the Art Womb.

You are welcome to attend one or both, and to follow along with the same icon we are working on- or choose your own.

For the month of January, we will paint Brigid, the Celtic goddess of fire, water and creativity, among many other things, on zoom on Sunday, January 15 at 2 PM. And then in February, we will gather in the Art Womb at herchurch, with masks on, and continue working on Brigid. You could start a second Brigid if you wanted, or continue working on your same painting. We’ll continue this pattern as we progress through the year and see how we all feel about it.
