Full Moon Drum Circle and Witchiness

The Cold Moon is the last full moon before the new year ahead. She rises in the middle of winter, and marks a time for detailed, complex reflection. This is the last full moon before the Winter Solstice.

Drumming and ritual. All genders welcome. Bring your own drum/instruments BUT some drums are available. In person in the herchurch sanctuary.

Proof of vaccination required.

Drum pictured is a
djembe. This goblet-shaped drum is traditionally carved from a single piece of African hardwood and topped with an animal skin as a drumhead. In western understanding, the drum belongs to the membranophone class of instruments in the percussion family. They are called membranophones because sound is created by vibration of membrane stretched tight.
