How can we use the wisdom of the Sacred Hoop and
the Moon Time Mysteries to navigate our way through personal and global challenges? Luna Crow, Moon Lodge Mama, will speak,
guide us through visualizations, and demonstrate how women's body cycles fit in the Sacred Hoop of Life.
Take the leap to embrace our roles as women who can and
will give birth to a world that ensures abundance for generations to come.
______
RWF members and health care practitioners only are invited to return to the Fellowship
Hall to share informal conversations with Luna Crow at 1:45pm following lunch. (on your own)
About the Presenters
Luna Crow is a spiritual guide and midwife of women who choose to journey
into and through the challenges of their own healing. Although she is not Native
American, she has had the honor of being "Moon Lodge Mother" at a Native American Sundance ceremony for 9 years. She has a deep understanding of why women's cycles are viewed and experienced as powerful and sacred in
indigenous cultures. She has taught and counseled on the Moon Time Mysteries
for 13 years.
Holly Burn-Crain has been studying Sacred Circle dancing for the past 15 years, and has been leading monthly Sacred Circle
Dance gatherings in the Bay area for the past 7 years. Holly has created dances for various events and ceremonies in both
the US and Canada
and has taught dances in school settings and as part of community gatherings large and small. Holly holds a Master’s
degree in Dance/Movement Therapy and is a Board Member of the Red Web Foundation.
"A woman's attitude about her menses impacts her
experience of giving birth. The more she has been aware of her bleeding time and holds deep respect for her womb, the easier
the birth. "
--Sharon Maloney, author and
women's health practitioner
The Red Web Foundation is an international women’s organization working to transform society’s view of the female
experience. We recognize the menstrual, menopausal
cycle as integral to our health and well-being; we honor a positive experience as the birthright of women and girls. As an
educational non-profit, we provide a supportive network of menstrual health advocates, public educational events and comprehensive
online resources.
